If you register before April 20, the fees are:

  • $225 for members.

  • $350 for non-members.

  • $100 for students.

  • $165 for student non-members.

  • $215 for a spouse/partner.

Aloha, Chicago!
You don't have to be in Hawaii to have a luau. The chapter had its own luau-lite in July at the new ABC7 studios on State Street.

Those who attended got a tour of ABC7, including the balcony where Ebert & Roeper is taped.

We also had a chance to meet the 2006 David Ibata and Linda Yu scholarship winners. Jeffrey Granstrand, a recent gradute of Washington State University, spent the summer working with Linda Yu at ABC7 while Christine Won, a student at the University of Illinois, interned at the Daily Southtown.

They each also received a $2,500 scholarship.

Cheers!
Chicago chapter members who attended the 2006 annual convention in Honolulu, Hawaii gathered for a drink.

It was a time to toast new, and old, members.
