Trivia fans gathered in October at CBS Chicago's studio to test their knowledge against one another.
Teams for AAJA-Chicago's inaugural Trivia Bowl included one from the chapter, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, FOX News Chicago, CBS Chicago, Crain's Chicago Business and the National Association of Black Journalists.
Nancy Loo was our emcee and our esteemed judges were Joanie Lum of CBS; Gene Lee, Mayor Daley's Deputy Chief of Staff; Rick O'Dell of WNUA Smooth Jazz and Jimmy Lee of the Whiet House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
There were seven rounds of 10 questions each and by the end, Team CBS emerged as the victors and owners of the traveling trophy.
Stay tuned for details about this year's Trivia Bowl, sure to be as exciting as last year's and to find some teams determined to get that trophy out of CBS' hands. |
