We've all heard the economy is getting better. But we've also heard that this recovery isn't generating jobs. If you're a journalist looking for a new job, you may wonder where you stand. Who's hiring in journalism? Is print faring better or worse than broadcast or new media? What does it take to get noticed? What should you do if you've spent years in journalism and you're thinking about making a change? These are among the topics we'll explore in "Finding a Job in the Jobless Recovery," a discussion among experts in the know.

Included on the panel are:

* Laurel Touby, founder of mediabistro.com, a media news and job-searching Web site

* Melanie Huff, Director of Career Services, Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism

* Brad Agry, principal, CareerTeam Partners, career management consultants

* Laura Lorber, managing editor of Career Journal, a division of Dow Jones and the Wall Street Journal.
