Each year, the New York chapter awards one $3,000 scholarship and two $1,000 scholarships to deserving high school students from the New York area. Scholarships go toward scholarships to high school seniors who will be studying journalism or mass communications in college or who demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in journalism. Please pass the word along to area high schools!
