NYABJ/AAJA Print vs. Broadcast

Date : Saturday, July 10, 2004
Time : 12 noon - 5:00 pm
Place : Central Park Great Lawn Field 2
RSVP : to aajanyc@hotmail.com and type "softball" in subject line — we need players! If you want to play, please e-mail us your name and let us know if you want to play for the print or broadcast team
Cost : $5 to help cover cost of sandwiches & non-alcoholic drinks
Directions : The Great Lawn is located between 79th to 85th Street (enter on either east side or west side of the park and walk to the center).

Field #2 is in the southeast end of the oval (closest entrance is E. 81st St near the Metropolitan Museum of Art).

In the spirit of Unity this year, our annual softball game will be a joint event with the New York Association of Black Journalists. Members from NYABJ & AAJA will play on both teams for either print or broadcast bragging rights.

Play or root for your favorite side; bring your friends & family out to enjoy an afternoon in the park!
