Attention students: A generous AAJA member has donated one ticket to allow a student member attend our special endowment dinner on Nov. 17. We will hold a raffle to randomly select a student to attend. Here's how to participate:

Who is eligible: AAJA student members who are attending college or high school or have graduated within the last 12 months but have not found a full time job. You must be registered as a paid 2004 student member as of Nov. 1. Anyone who is not a paid member will be disqualified from the drawing.

What to do: send your full name and school affiliation in an e-mail to: aajanyc@hotmail.com and type 'raffle' in the subject line -- deadline to receive e-mail is 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 12. We will enter all eligible students' names in a box and randomly select one person and notify the winner that evening.

Cost: No cost to enter the raffle; winner will be responsible for your own transportation to/from the Waldorf-Astoria.

Again, the dinner will be on Wed., Nov. 17 in New York City at the Waldorf-Astoria (located in Manhattan on Park Avenue between 49th and 50th Streets) .

Thank you very much to AAJA member Diana Mitsu Klos, Senior Project Director at American Society of Newspaper Editors, for donating the ticket.
