Deadlines for Student Programs Coming Up!


Attention students: Do you want a great learning experience at this year's AAJA National Convention? Then apply for one of AAJA's student projects. About 40 students are selected to work with professional journalists in putting together a newspaper, a TV newscast, a radio newscast or an online news website during the week of the AAJA National Convention -- and your transportation and hotel costs to attend the convention are covered! In addition, deadlines are also coming up for summer internship programs with AAJA partner organizations including:

• Cox Reporting Internship covering Washington, D.C., politics (deadline is Feb. 28)
• Siani Lee Broadcast Internship for Television (deadline is March 7)
• National Public Radio Internship (deadline is March 7)
