The Asian American Journalists of Philadelphia represents journalists and aspiring journalists from the tri-state region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Our membership is growing and diverse, ranging from college students to veteran journalists with more than 20 years of experience. We thrive on our members and our commitment to the Delaware Valley.

AAJA-Philadelphia members not only cover the community, we are part of it. Our mission reflects the goals of our members and our profession:

1. To encourage Asian Pacific Americans to enter the ranks of journalism
2. To work for fair and accurate coverage of Asian Pacific Americans
3. To increase the number of Asian Pacific American journalists and news managers in the industry.

AAJA-Philadelphia is an affiliate of the Asian American Journalists Association, a non-profit organization with more than 1,900 members worldwide. We have chapters in every major media market, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
