Northwest Journalists of Color NJC to award 11 scholarships NJC Scholarship reception Tuesday, June 15 AAJA Seattle joins the Northwest Journalists of Color in presenting this year's scholarship awards to Washington state high school and college students thinking about a career in journalism. AAJA Seattle headlines:   AAJA offers workshop for broadcast students This hands-on workshop is for college students and new broadcast journalists. Northwest Journalists of Color supprots diversity in media by encouraging students of color in Washington state to pursue careers in journalism. Every year, we award college scholarships to three to five students in Washington state who demonstrate the talent and commitment to become journalists.
