AAJA Seattle joins the Northwest Journalists of Color in presenting this year's scholarship awards to Washington state high school and college students thinking about a career in journalism.

AAJA offers workshop for broadcast students
This hands-on workshop is for college students and new broadcast journalists. There will be informal, group discussions on how to get that first job, effective clips/tapes, and networking.

Fundraising drive for NJC scholarship.
Northwest Journalists of Color supprots diversity in media by encouraging students of color in Washington state to pursue careers in journalism. Every year, we award college scholarships to three to five students in Washington state who demonstrate the talent and commitment to become journalists. This year we hope to establish an endowment for future scholarship awards.
