Destination: Seattle Asian Art Museum
Transportation: You'll need a rental car or take a three-mile taxi ride to Capitol Hill.
Location: From downtown, take Pike Street east to 12th Avenue East. Turn left (north) on 12th Avenue East and continue a dozen blocks to Volunteer Park. The museum is inside the park.

Volunteer Park is a 48-acre park in the center of Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. And at the center of the park, is the Seattle Asian Art Museum, housing an absolutely magnificant collection of Asian treasures.
The museum overlooks the 20-million gallon reservoir at Volunteer Park. The Reservoir, 121 feet above Elliott Bay, was one of the first to be constructed by the Seattle Fire Department in the late 1880s. It's one of the most spectacular sights with views of downtown and beyond.
