This is the closest to "authentic" Northwest Native
dancing you'll be able to see this time of year. The show features carved
masks, beautiful button blankets and some keen special effects. The stage
and performance are much improved since the last AAJA convention in 1991.
The food is surprisingly tasty...traditional baked salmon (they cook them
on wooden splits right before your eyes), whole grain bread, red potatoes,
fresh salad, dessert chocolate salmon and coffee, tea or lemonade. The
village is located on a state park. Some hiking, some deer, enjoy crushing
the clam shells underfoot along the beach!
