Scholarships July 2007 About the AAJA Texas 2007 scholarship recipient SARAH TIAMBENG The Scholarship Committee has selected Sarah Tiambeng as this year's recipient. Out of the five eligible entries, Sarah impressed the committee the most. She is a Duncanville High School student who has already had a front-page story in the Dallas Morning News. She heads to the University of Missouri-Columbia this fall. AAJA Texas congratulates its 2007 scholarship winner: Sarah Tiambeng. She receives a $1,000 award to further her journalism education and training. AAJA members congratulated her during a luncheon in her honor, Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Clay Pit in Addison.
